EMILY SCOTT

To put it simply, Emily is passionate about food and it is in her kitchen where she feels most at home. Emily’s passion for the connection between food, a sense of place and storytelling is infectious, intriguing and comforting all at the same time. I call Emily’s food, “food for the senses”.

Whether it is The Longstore’s famous Sunday roasts, Saturday lunch or dinner any night of the week, the food is amazing. Or visit the Truro location for some stylish city dining with a warm and welcoming Cornish vibe.

Appleton's

Appleton's is a Restaurant and Bar by Andy and Lyndsey Appleton in Fowey, Cornwall. The restaurant was first established in 2016 within an operational vineyard and winery on the way to Padstow, Cornwall. However it closed in this location at the end of October 2019 and relocated to an exciting new venue right in the heart of Fowey.

Andy is a self taught chef, his CV has him as the former Head Chef of Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall, in that position for 9 years, and before that at the flagship restaurant Fifteen London.

Rick Stein

Opened by Rick Stein and Jill Stein in 1975, the Seafood Restaurant is where it all began. Boasting an international reputation for serving the freshest fish and shellfish, Head Chef Pete Murt and the team celebrate Cornish produce, with ingredients sourced locally to create simple seafood dishes and classic flavours.

The heart of the restaurant is a seafood bar where the chefs assemble platters of oysters, langoustines and sashimi. Upstairs, the terrace offers the ideal place to soak up the summer sun, whilst gazing across the scenic Camel Estuary.

The New Yard restaurant hosts supper evenings, each week, Wednesday to Saturday. Each night the menu changes and every course is entirely composed of produce foraged from the estate, grown in the walled garden or ethically sourced from the local area. Booking is essential. The Pantry is serving coffee, cakes, pastries and freshly made bagels in the courtyard. Food is available to takeaway. The Pantry space also lends itself beautifully to private dining events.
